This fish charm necklace was hand carved in wax in my garden studio, then locally cast in solid sterling silver here in New Zealand using the traditional lost wax process - preserving every tiny texture and imperfect detail along the way.

We each have different bodies and preferences on how we like things to fit.
Our beaded necklaces are designed to sit around the collarbone area.
To find the right fit for you, there are two options.
1. Measure an existing necklace you own.
2. Using a length of string, wrap it around your neck until you find a comfortable fit. You can then measure the string flat against a ruler.
Keep in mind to hold the string taught against the ruler for an accurate measurement.
Our total length measurements are inclusive of the clasp, so from end to end.
We are in the process of adapting our beaded necklace design to include an extension chain to provide more sizing flexibility.

Yes, we are very happy to make custom lengths.
If it is a small sizing adjustment (+ or - 5cm), there is no extra charge.

The most accurate way to find your ring size is to visit a local jeweller and get a professional ring sizing. This service is usually complimentary but you can always call ahead to enquire.
There are many at home methods but they tend to be inaccurate, and the organic nature of our rings can make them difficult to resize.
Please take care in selecting your ring size as we are not currently able to offer a resizing service. -
It is very important to me that customers are happy with their Prairie treasures.
In the unlikely event that an item is damaged in transit, faulty, or any other issue on arrival, please email as soon as possible so that we are able to provide a solution.
We are not able to offer change of mind refunds or exchanges at this time.
There is a lot of care & consideration taken to ensure Prairie designs are high quality, well made and enduring.
It is still important to note that jewellery is an inherently fragile and precious object, that needs to be treated with great care and reverence.
